This study, based on the verses of the Holy Quran, examines the issue of whether human general cognitions - that is, sensory, rational, and intuitive perceptions - are sufficient to guide him towards true perfection and eternal bliss. Its goal is to clarify man's need for knowledge derived from revelation in navigating worldly affairs and achieving the levels of the hereafter, eternal bliss, and true perfection. The issue becomes prominent when we consider that man needs some kind of cognition in all his vital choices, and any deficiency or error in this cognition changes the course of his life. Since an important part of man's cognitive needs is related to areas that are not within the power of his limited and fallible perception, the main question of the article necessarily becomes a fundamental issue: the possible inadequacy of man's natural cognitions and the need for him to rely on a source beyond human experiences.
The research method is library in the data collection stage and descriptive-analytical-interpretive in the analysis and problem-solving stage. The findings show that although sensory, rational, and intuitive perception play an important role in human life, due to structural limitations and fallacies, they are not sufficient to chart a comprehensive path to happiness and perfection. From the perspective of the Quran, divine wisdom requires that a safe and error-free path, namely the revelation and mission of the prophets (peace be upon them), be made available to humanity to compensate for the shortcomings of human cognition and guide them to true perfec
