One of the common teachings that God asked His prophets to teach their nations the belief in Badaa. However, Judaism, Christianity, and Sunnis oppose the doctrine of Badaa. However, Shia, despite strongly opposing the aforementioned attribution, attribute Badaa to God. The main reason for Shia in this regard is is hadiths and verses. There are many narrations in Al_Kaafi and Al_Tawhid about Badaa. The Holy Quran has also spoken about badaa on various occasions and in various ways, but of course, not all commentators have necessarily interpreted badaa from them.
One of the areas of investigation into the phenomenon of badaa in the Quran is to trace its possible instances. Among the possible instances are the verses referring to the faith of the magicians who confronted Prophet Moses (PBUH) in the presence of Pharaoh. The present study aims to answer the question of whether God is trying to narrate one of the instances of badaa in this incident?
The method adopted to answer this question is descriptive, analytical and critical, focusing on Shiite sources and the views of those who have considered this incident to be an example of badaa. The achievement of this article is that although it can be accepted that something unforeseen happened to some people, this cannot be enough to attribute it to God, and reliable documentation of the occurrence of a kind of erasure and confirmation in the erasure and confirmation tablet regarding this incident must be presented.
